How You Can Help

Ready for Life can't serve these youth alone and it is our connection to the community that strengthens all of the work we do.  Whether we are educating the community about foster care challenges, building relationships with community partners or getting the community directly involved with the youth, you are the piece of the puzzle that we need.

Volunteers play an important part in everything that happens at RFL. From mentors and tutors, event helpers, "pantry ladies," and administrative support, to corporate “give-days,” church food-drives, and civic group involvement—RFL is bigger, better, and stronger because people in Pinellas County care!

Stocked with donated items from our wish list and organized by creative volunteers, the pantry has become one of the most important lifeline services we offer to hundreds of young clients and their children everyday.

With so many young adults aging out of foster care and having no support system, we openly accept financial donations to support our youth.  We also accept gift card donations. Please consider "investing" in our youth.
